It's only the third and I finally make my new years post Hurray!
Picked my friend up from the airport after playing Valkyria Chronicles(AWESOME!) all night. -34 is not fun even if your in a heated SUV >_<

After finishing Valkyria Chronicles twice in the processes of trying to unlock the wings of solidarity medal I'm not sure if I'm sold on Maximillian anymore. I think I had my hopes up to high after thinking he'd have some Lelouche Crazy moments, though he was practically the same character. I still wanna do a character though I'm thinking maybe a lancer or Jewish Zoro(Zaka)

Anyways my New Years Resolution is to finish the damn script for the PW panel and to stop goofing off. I've Been way too Lazy lately but I blame the cold

I had to laugh today I was sitting around watching some anime waiting for Geass to finish downloading. I was watching Gintama and World Destruction and as I was watching I decided to look up Sa-chan because her voice sounded familiar. As I was looking I noticed that she was played by the same person as Kaere from Zetsubou sensei but even more amusing just as I was about to leave I saw a note under her about the World Destruction anime and found out she also plays Lia! it's kind of funny how those things work out.

So I was thinking about if I would ever cosplay a Geass character which one it'd be. I was slowly going over everyone's suggestions in my head when I realized I had forgotten someone overlooked. Clovis! again I'd get to wear a cravat not to mention his high up on my Geass ranting list. Clovis would be my top pic barring I actually got a chance to host something like the walkoff then I'd so cosplay Orange because nothing would be more awesome than getting rolled onto the stage and hatching out of a giant Orange.
Side note I had a rant to my friend about Clovis not actually being dead and his Geass being like Aizen's illusion zanpaktou! So now you know how I'd end Geass or at least something like that with Kallens brother as Seki. etc etc . . .

I have to confess to you all that the reason AE can't be held at SFU is entirely my fault. Last year in October I had received a letter from SFU telling me I had owed them money for the destruction of university property. they hold me wholly responsible for the damage my face had done to the steps in the convocation hall. I will continue to outright refuse these charges until my demands are met.

My friends at work were talking about how in the U.S. theres a T-shirt that will actually do airguitar if you make the motions. It's a bad sign when the first thought that popped to mind was WHOA that'd be awesome for Klavier cosplay and to a lesser extent Bill and Ted (WYLD STALLIONS RULE!)

I figured should post because I haven't in a while

Lately these days I find myself watching more and more Giant Robot anime I've recently got into Aquarion. I watched the first episode a few months ago but I couldn't really get into it then a week ago I watched the second one WOW it becomes more and more awesome with every episode. It also has Masaya Onosaka as a soccer player turned Giant Robot Pilot whats that Hot Blood + Basket Ball Tennis and now Soccer. They even have their own blind loli in wheelchair who kinda works as a really creepy version of Nunally. The whole Gattai = Kimochi Aspect is kinda weird and the fact they have an episode devoted is even more so but I think it's good they can poke fun at themselves. I really have to thank both Ben and Jing for recommending it to me.

I've also been watching Gravion. it's also pretty good but I'm not sure if there's anything of note besides Sandman who's quite funny.

On a sad note looks like I won't be going to see Shokotan as there seems to be no interest for AX. Though I am looking into checking out Gencon and I'll be back this year for a week or two around AE!

It's my Apollo Justice review with no Spoilers since I dunno how to make a cut in LJ LOL!
Thinks I liked about this
Sound Track was really good!
Main Character design was really good I.E. Apollo, Trucy Klavier, Kristoph, and Ema

Things I disliked about it
-The Writing (It took a complete swan dive since the other three. Not really any sense os suspense or complete Turnaround in it. Never really felt like you were up against the wall more just you and prosecution bullying the witness. Another point is prosecution isn't completely against you. what happened to the complete hatred and animosity of Franziska or Godot. >_< Also minor things that weren't tied up in the story all really bugged me).
-Most of the Minor characters were annoying with the exception of Vera her father and the Magician brothers.
-The complete disregard of all the major cast of the previous 3.

I hope GS 5 makes up for this one
and I still hold that Klavier is somewhat based on Dante "this parties getting CRAZY!"

I just started watching Sentai lol I know it's a bit late but I figured you all on my list might get a laugh out of it. My friend started watching Kamen Rider Den-O and gets me to watch everytime I'm over at his place. I thought it was pretty funny because it follows alot of the rules that a friend of mine( an ex-Otaku from Japan) from work set out for me such as the announcement of your HISSATSU WAZA!

Other than that I've been watching Avatar . . . yes you heard me Avatar (dodges all the thrown garbage). When you get past the fact that yes it is North American and yes it reeks of that "HEY LOOK ANIMEZ!!!" over excentuated anime style the story is pretty good and the humor can actually be funny most of the time. I only watched the first two seasons on box set but I'll probably check it out again once the third one comes out.

I've been watching lots of anime. I just finished Godannar and I'm gonna watch MazinKaizer next. I've watched Kaiji and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (AWESOME btw) when they get released. I'm also still staring at the trainwreck known as myself ; yourself I don't really know what keeps me watching it probably the hope of another amusing Koyasu episode.

In real life I've been sick and had an absess fun times! My schools going to heck and I'm stuck in a slackoff rut when I have a paper due on Thursday. Oh Procrastination gods why have you turned on me! I'm becoming some crazy shut-in and I don't even play World of Warcraft! Why? Edmonton why are you such a crappy city!

I have been inspired by Amenonine and Panda's dedication to do a crazy costume. So I've decided to do Ron Delite! then again it won't really be me making it prolly Jing . . . BUT STILL! I wanna figure out a way to make myself useful like trying to make the hair do the springy thing his does.

I figure if I can get some sort of spring with like fishing wire so I can get people to pull it out and it'll snap back. I'm also looking for a Dessie . . .

I wonder what it is when your homesick for a place you weren't born in hhhmmmm been feeling that alot lately which is crummy because I won't be coming back to visit until like Sakuracon.
Haven't been up to much lately just school and work and friends have mostly school and work.
I'm really glad Henru is writing in his LJ I think a lot of us were starting to worry about him. I really hope he'll come back for Sakuracon or AE (more uncle Jiggly townhouse madness).

I decided to post a little earlier so my posts are a bit more coherent but at the same time I'm in a hurry so it's still gonna be a bit messed up.

I finally unlocked Cheer girls and Samurai Blue on Ouendan 2 YAY! though I'm still chasing Maiea's shadow it feels good to have accomplished this one thing.

watching more Lucky Star it has some ok parts but most of it seems drawn out until they get to the anime tenchou parts. Which also means it's only a matter of time till Koyasu shows up. and also if you factor in the Keroro references as wel l kukukuku~~~~~~

my birthday came and past like usual so I decided to get myself a cell phone although it'll be a pain in the butt to have I've missed too many important people to not have one.

other than that I heard about a really sad situation about one of my old mentors losing it at a friend of mine. I hate being so far away it makes me feel pretty helpless. I really wish I could do something about this.

my life other than the usual work and crap has just been alot of Ouendan 2 and Gintama why must you make me do such things!!! The Shinsengumi are the best part of Gintama it's totally whacked on how different they are from the PMK Shinsengumi. I keep asking myself why did I keep putting off watching this since long ago when Jing told me how good it is!
is the PW murder mystery still going on? I wanna try to book a good part in it!

CALGARY AGAIN!

So I'm gonna be going down to Calgary on this Roadtrip type thinga with a couple of friends this weekend. It's not as good as Sakcon but it'll still be fun. I also finally found the HyoteiMyu to torture my friends with on the ride down MWAHAHAHAHA!

was finally able to watch Geass again thanks to Shinsen and .avi type subbing then their stupid fandub 23 April fools day prank made me hate them all over again. But Geass has been great it's had Orange, Mao, Madarame, RoboOrange, lots and lots of fanservice, Diethardt being a crazy, Karen Kasshu, and Noodle Jesus running up the side of a wall and kicking a machine gun turret off the ceiling. I can only hope the next season is a great and has Suzaku's younger brother searching for Sakura's Feather. LOL. I've also been watching more Giant Robots in the form of GGG which I don't know why I haven't watched sooner. There's a major added bonus of watching it on DVD that you can swap over to English and hear Yami Yugi voice the Chairman FINAL FUSION AUTHORIZED HA!

I'm still confused about which cosplay's I wanna do for AE
I'm gonna keep Edgeworth but I wanna do maybe one or two new ones
I wanna do a really nice Geass one but I can't decide if I wanna be Mao or Orange but my friend says I should try being Clovis or Schniezel just cause I look more like them I guess it's ok but it's gonna be like Euram last year without getting to be a total Dork. It all pays to start prepping way ahead and know how much money I gotta pay Panda or Jing or people that can get a Chainsaw into AE for me

I don't remember what I did though things of note were watching a bunch of Geass at a friends house (watching the Mao arc on Valentines poor Mao T_T) and I went to pick my brother from work and chatted with the cute cashier till he was done. Pretty Lame I know. T_T

oh I finally finished the inhuman grindfest known as FF12 MAN that's 100 hours of my life I'm never getting back that and Hotel Dusk 215 and it's . . . really . . .slow . . .text and if you screw up you vae to begin the whole stupid thing from last you saved. It's also got this really slashy storyline that's worse than the Phoenix Edgeworth stuff. Anyways Back to FF12 after leveling up so much to fight Gilgamesh/Bender the last Boss was a pushover I pretty much sat there watching the last hour of the game play itself out. 4chan waaaay over hyped Ondores lies but he was still hilarious he had this goofy east indian accent and he narrated alot of the chapters in the beginning but he got cut out for most of the end. I just loved the Star Wars crap it had in it.

anyways the title comes from a Rant Mushi and I had while discussing Franziska vs Kalifa and I noticed if you combine the fetishes that both Adrian and Franziska cover it basically adds up to being Kalifa. LOL

anyways after previous reconsideration I might actually visit before the summer if I have time just because a friend of mine might be going away for all of summer and I'd still like to see them before they leave so YAY!
